This week's episode features CUneXus President Dave Buerger providing us with how he uses fitness and good health practices to be a true Fitxec and excel in his job. He is the leader of his company and staff looks to him as the example in work habits, fitness practices, and other positive examples.
One thing that Dave shared with us is that he really likes to get away in bike rides, runs, hikes, etc. to truly unwind and clear his mind. This "escape" allows him to think clearly about work-related issues, be a fine family man to his wife and kids, as well as, again, being an example to his staff. Dave also shared with us his daily routine, nutrition, sleep, etc. that all helps him excel in his career and life. Check it out!

This week's episode features Summer Tomato's creator Darya Rose, who also happens to be a neuroscientist, author (see her book below: Foodist), former dieter, and proud foodist. We invited Darya on the show because of her vast knowledge on the nutrition front, as we all know what you put into your body is what you get out of it -- good or bad.
So we chatted with Darya on what foods she eats, along with her other fitness and good health practices. She also provided us with a ton of advice on proper nutrition -- especially for busy professionals constantly on the move. Often it's a challenge with job, family, friends, etc. to maintain a healthy diet for maximum performance, but Darya flips that on its head and says you can do it. It just takes creating good eating habits that become part of your life -- and she tells us just how to that. She also revealed some of the eating and dieting issues she experienced growing up in Southern California -- and how she overcame them. Very transparent and motivating stuff here. Many thanks to Darya for being on the show. Check it out and go get her book! |
