Allegiance Credit Union President/CEO Amy Downs joined us on the show to share her terrifying, yet inspiring, story of being trapped in the rubble of the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing at the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building -- where her credit union was located. Amy recollects her first-hand account surviving the domestic terrorist act and the lessons she learned in the aftermath.
These lessons paved the way for her physical and mental transformation that literally saved her life and put her on the path to success at the very credit union she worked at during the bombing. She is now president/CEO of that credit union. Not only has Amy experienced career success, but has also competed in Ironman races -- something prior to the bombing she would never have considered. Now, she has a super cool stationary bike in her office (just out of the frame in this interview). Inspiring talk here with Amy, so don't miss this one. And let us know your thoughts. In addition, Amy has just published her new book: "Hope is a Verb: My Journey of Impossible Transformation." Check it out. An book that will transform your life, indeed.
