I call him San Diego's King of Networking. That would be Mr. David Oates, president and founder of the successful marketing firm Stalwart Communications. David is literally everywhere on the networking circuit in America's Finest City. There has to be three or four of him bouncing around the city at various events drumming up new business for Stalwart. I don't know how he does it, while maintaining his health.
We've all been to corporate networking events and conferences where the food and drink are rich and the hours are long. And it's not long before we find ourselves 20 or 30 pound overweight, dog tired, and making a trip to the doctor because our EKG looks more like the Richter Scale after a 9.0 earthquake. That's no bueno. Naturally, I had to catch up with David at his local gym Fitwall (a client of his) to find out just how he maintains his health with such a hectic lifestyle. In this chat, he shares his take on how he gets it done and why.
